breakfast pavillion

Gower Wales 2012

Douglas Fir, Spruce and Ash structural framing. Oak joinery and larch bridge. Sweet Chestnut shakes to walls, zinc roof. 5.6x3x4.5m high.

A design and build collaboration with Robin Campbell, Air Architecture - www.airarchitecture.com

A highly detailed small building commissioned as part of a larger residential scheme within the Gower AONB. Sited over a new pond within a courtyard close to the dwelling and designed to function as a breakfast room/summerhouse/quiet retreat.

CNC cutting utilised to fabricate components for the geometrically complex walls and roof. The pavilion was fabricated off-site in our workshops to ensure quality and transported to site partly assembled as a wide load.
